MCSO Jail Codes – Holds

Holds

COUNTY HOLD (U Unknown): The defendant has a hold from another county. This often means a warrant or required court appearance.

COUNTY HOLD APRO (U Unknown): See County Hold.

FACILITY HOLD (U Unknown): A facility, such as a prison, jail, community corrections, or treatment facility, has a hold on this person and they will likely be released to them at some point.

FUGITIVE (U Felony): The defendant is a fugitive from justice. Typically this means the defendant has a warrant in another state. https://www.oregonlaws.org/ors/133.747

INST LEAVE VIOLATOR (U Felony): Institution Leave Violator. This defendant has been through an institution phase of an alternative incarceration program but has violated conditions of his or her leave and will likely be returned to that institution, prison, or community corrections. https://www.oregonlaws.org/ors/144.108

JUV CRT HEARING (U Unknown): The defendant has a hearing with a juvenile court.

PAROLE OR PPSV VIOL (U Felony): The defendant violated conditions of probation, parole, or post prison supervision. There is typically no bail for such violations.

TRANS LEAVE VIOLATOR (U Felony): Transitional Leave Violator. This defendant was placed in a halfway house or other transitional supervision from jail or prison but violated conditions of their transition.

USM HOLD: US Marshals Hold. This defendant has a hold from the US Marshals.
